Sick as a Dog

After an extremely relaxing weekend it was up with birds this morning to have a blood test at the doc's. Straight into work to find out that the works dog had some sort of stroke in the night. I went round to see it and it was a poor sight as it could hardly move, but still managed a wag. They are waiting for the vet to see it but as of this pm no news. Played at the Oak last night and got to hear a recording made a few weeks ago. All it did was confirm what i have known all along. i am just a mediocre player and all this practice really is doing not much good at all. Which in a way is a relief, because now i can drop off a bit and see what happens , maybe with a different approach. Saying that though I had a slightly better night last night. I am tired today as I was anticipating the alarm not going off (it's new) and of course it didn't which made for a restless night. Ah well onwards and upwards.
