Patch

The funeral took place today of the last man alive to fight in the trenches in the First World War. At 111 years old he could not talk about what he had seen for many years. Apparently in one of his memories he came across a wounded soldier who was gravely injured. the soldier asked him to shoot him, but before he could draw his pistol the soldier died. He recounted the last word the soldier said was 'Mother'. It was not said in an agonised way but in a surprised way so much so that it was as if he had seen her waiting for him? I am not surprised at this as i know of a few stories where this has happened. I do believe in another life and I do believe what we do in this life is taken into account.
