Now I am not saying this because I know the people who's 'do' it was last night, but I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. First in a long time. Ok I cocked up the latter part of Under My Skin and fluffed a couple in a solo but hey what the heck I had a nice time. I have to learn that this new mouthpiece does not require the pressure of the old one and it's a matter of being confident with it but after a long lay off I can't be to hard on myself. If I did not work for a living I would be committed to putting a couple of hours practice in every day. But I do so I can't!! I did something silly last night when I got in. I got on the PC and an anxiety web site chat room. I was embroiled in my usual advice giving session around the world when I suddenly realised it was 3am? Seeing I was awake at 6 that was a shorter night than usual for me.
Off to Lincolnshire for the next gig and another late/early morning.
