I have made a cock up. We are supposed to be having a rehearsal next week and the Landlord of the pub convinced me that I had said I would contact the Band as we are missing so many Sundays with Bank Holidays etc. Anyway I had to take a quick canvas of some of the Band so we could announce it and all said Concert? I suppose with the large audiences we are getting now we should keep up the momentum but I let poor old Dave the MC down as he needs rehearsal time?
The ongoing Red Light crime is still ongoing. the other company is drafting a grovelling letter as is mine and they are all being sent off together. This incident is still eating away at me because of the points I will probably get and have them for 3 years to remind me that I was only trying to do my job?
I enjoyed playing this weekend, but this new mouthpiece is really making me work hard. Hard to explain ,but it is like using one of those bendy wire things that you have to negotiate without setting a buzzer off. A fraction out with the embouchure and you are in the poo.
